Life Changes – The Things we Overcome
It has been a difficult time over the last couple of weeks. On May 28th I lost my step-father Gary Chaney who raised me with my mother since I was around 8 years old. He was fighting cancer and did so until his last breath. He was a big part of my love for golf and being in the business to begin with. As I have went through this last 2 weeks I continue to have flashbacks to the many games of golf, fishing and hunting trips, and him spending time with my girls. While I knew this day would come I didn’t expect to lose him at 58. About 2 weeks after I moved to Texas he was diagnosed.
I just wanted to make this public post saying thank you to him for molding who I have become and continue to be. I also would like to say thank you to all of my friends and family for their support and continued prayers. Now it’s time I make a difference and make him proud.
